Love this Pinot....great taste and smoothness.
An easy drinking, fruity Pinot Noir that pairs well with salmon, pork, pasta with meat, even chickee for you non-white wine people. It has the ripe red fruit profile you would expect - raspberry, strawberry, cherry - and a hint of earthiness. Fresh and straightforward, this is a nice example of New Zealand's "other" wine that it dies well.

Needs time to air , several days

Would rate this a 3.5. This was a nice pinot noir. It wasn't as robust as some but still very drinkable.
Julianne
Tasty & fairly light red
Anett
Thin. Not my favorite
Emma
Not a favorite.
Devon
transparent tasting, not a huge fan, but decent
Ryan
great
Jana
Peppery in a good way, but lacked a maturity in the fruit department
Didn’t really like it when we first opened it. Tried it again the next day, it was better the second day. Light Pinot with a hint of spice, not bad.
Dana
ok

This is lightweight but very flavorful. It was better than I thought it would be. Great for when it's hot or you're eating spicy food but you still want a red instead of, say, beer.
Nikki
really great flavor
SARAH
Very smooth, I really enjoyed this.
Nancy
Light and drinkable Pinot. First time tasting one from New Zealand. Enjoy the slight peppery taste at finish

This wine had a strange, almost flavorless taste as you first sipped it, but then you were hit with a much better and almost smoky flavor after it had time to sit on your taste buds for a moment.

Nice balanced Pinot. A little oaky? IMO for summer. Must be that pepper note. Would be good with BBQ. Tasty and would drink again in autumn when the second notes would fit the weather.
Rachel
Not enough flavor
David
surprisingly full body great taste
Really liked it! Super drinkable and smoky
Alexandra
A bit tart. It was good, better the second day

Continuing my pinot noir adventure with Wune Awesomeness I have to admit that this is the worse Pinot I ever had. I don't think this wine would even go well with food, let alone as a solitary imbibement. Perhaps the bottle was tainted. I'm not sure but if it wasn't what a bummer.
Never had Pinot Noir from this part of the world. First for everything. More tartness than I'm use to but makes for a great no food type of wine chilled down.
Dale
Tastes of cherry and strawberry, smells of cherry.
Eric
Smooth peppery wine with lots of dry notes of plum

meh. wanted to like it, but fell flat to me
Ieva
A pleasantly light taste, it was an excellent choice for a summer evening discussing the state of the world and other topics on my back deck.
Mike
This wine drank like a white wine (which I really dislike). Smelled like armpit and tasted like strawberry-flavored rubbing alcohol.
Alissa
good with pizza
joseph
Light and easy to drink. I really enjoyed it. Would definitely order again.
Mary

Colleen
