I was intrigued by the blend of two of the lesser popular red grapes - Grenach and Merlot. The wine's texture was thinner than expected but it's dry flinty essence was nicely balanced with lush fruits like berries and cherries. I drink the wine without foor but expect it to be a good match for red meats, especially grilled ones. I gave it a 4 glass rating but would have given it a 3-1/2 rating if technologically possible. My drinking buddy liked this wine even more than me, so the 4-glass rating is justified.

The Merlot component is very forward. Heavy tannins and berry jam notes in every sip.

Lovely wine. You can drink this by itself.

Lighter bodied, kind of a cool sensation when smelling/tasting. Okay, wouldn’t seek out again.
