This is for grilling steak. It's earthy and warm with a full mouth feel and aromatics. Get yourself a Tri-Tip and uncork.

Wine is affected by nature more so than most things that we eat and drink. The team at Clairaut got its start in the Margaret River Valley of Australia in 1976 with an appreciation that was way ahead of its time for how the land, temperature, and chemicals affect the grapes. Hence, they named their wines the Laws of Nature! As they say on this estate... “The natural world abides by the laws of nature, and so do we.” The juice itself is a classic Margaret River Valley Cab with a lush, fruit-forward style that is delicious now, but this wine is of a class that will still be amazing in a decade. That fresh fruit of red currants, cherries, and rhubarb charges out of the gate like American Pharoah. The jammy fruit gets more complex down the stretch with cracked pepper, tobacco leaves, graphite, and just the right touch of toasty oak.
