Ok Cab. Was not as bold as I would like.

In 1976, Tom Hedges married Annie-Marie Liégeois in Champagne, France. Fast forward to 1989 and the young couple purchased fifty acres on Red Mountain in the Yakima Valley and planted Bordeaux varietals AKA Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. It turns out Washington State is the perfect place for a couple married in France to make their mark on the American wine scene.
Cabernet Sauvignon may be the king of all the red grapes. Leaning on Hedges Estate's French influence, this Cab is a classic with notes of bursting fruit like blackberry, raspberry, and mixed berry jam on the nose. That ripe fruit mixes and mingles with dark cocoa, vanilla, dried herbs, and tobacco that ends so smooth and so soft on the palate. This vino is elegant enough to have on a fancy table in your own chateau, but the price is perfect for sipping while in your jammies with a night of takeout and Netflix.
