It was nice. Started with too much tanin but mellowed to be nice.

This wine had body without being spicy or sweet. I served this before dinner with friends some wine and cheese and everybody loved this red. I would definitely buy again.

Very drinkable, medium body, subtle nose, fruity with slight tartness, long clean finish. Definitely one of my favs.

This was great, just great California can. Lots of dark, jammy fruit and balanced tannins. Long, easy finish. I just drank it on its own.

David Gordon is the wine director at Tribeca Grill, the famed New York City restaurant. Owned by restaurateur Drew Nieporent and Robert DeNiro (you know, the guy from movies like Casino and Goodfellas). Gordon's wine program at the Tribeca Grill features over 1800 selections and is recognized as a helluva wine list by every publication we can think of. Through all the hard work, Gordon knows some of the best winemakers and spots for grapes in California. His goal with the Jeanne Marie wines is to bring you an awesome bottle that is affordable to open up any night of the week. The juice is classic California Cabernet Sauvignon, and by that we mean juicy and fruit forward, but still restrained and not loaded up with oak. Easy sippin' and medium-bodied with notes of black currant, stewed plum, blackberry, and a hint of mint. Notes of smoke and forest floor emerge on the long, layered finish. Complicated and nuanced in all the right ways.
