Really good cab. Shamelessly going to promote the Malbec from Areyna here. Found it locally; hope to see it on here sometime!

The name Casarena is a creative blending of two Spanish words. Casa (house) and Arena (sand). This brand new word is a tribute to the business's first winery that was built in the 1930s out of sand-colored stone AKA Sand House. At the time, this winery was the most innovative in Argentina, and Casarena continues to build upon this legacy. Today, the lead winemaker is Mariano Quiroga Adamo and he continues to shake things up with youth, innovation, and the desire to challenge the status quo of Argentinian wine.
These magical Cabernet Sauvignon berries are picked by hand and fermented in concrete tanks before aging for six months. The process makes this wine the perfect balance of fresh and vibrant that is still complex, nuanced, and has a real depth of flavors that linger on your taste buds. The smell is dark fig and ripe black currants. These concentrated fruits fade to spice and dark chocolate as you sip. The elegant tannins and all these flavors combine forces for a yummy mouthfeel.
