This Douro red is all about fresh red fruits i.e. cranberries and pomegranates on the nose that persist through the palate and electrically charge the lush tannins that seem to hang out forever. We say skip the fruit and bring this wine as your side dish!

This wine was good until the last glass when I got a mouthful of sediment. It coated one side of the glass. Almost as if it had been standing too long in the warehouse? I store all my wine lying down. It was disappointing.
