More about this wine from Coastal, South Africa
Perdeberg Wines, living quietly at the foothills of South Africa’s Paardeberg Mountains since 1941, adopted its name from the local Mountain Zebra, mistaken for wild horses “paard” by the Dutch settlers. Their Classic Collection, of which this yummy Merlot is a part, are grown in dry-land vineyard that receive no irrigation, resulting in berries with a higher skin to juice ratio – which means more flavor in the bottle. If you want to go full South African and throw a braai, their legendary barbecue which can last all day, this is a great bottle to uncork before or during the feast.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

Merlots love a good chicken or other lighter meats, but we also love pairing it with veggies with big flavors like this hearty smorgasbord of grilled produce.
