Practically tastes like cherry juice. Extremely pleasant. Not complex, just straightforward, hit-you-in-the-face fruit -- but in a *good* way. Great with tomato sauce; probably wouldn't trot out opposite steak.

Seemed syrupy. Not the favorite of the Italian painting bottles, but need to try again.

This was the first bottle we opened from a 12-bottle case and it really set a great tone for the rest of the case. We are generally fans of Italian reds. This one was very approachable--smooth, fruity, and so easy to drink. It's a weekday wine for sure.

This wine was light in a really enjoyable way! It had a dry fruity crispness to it I hadn’t really encountered with a red before and I really liked that. Sort of like the sensation of a green apple. Would buy again

Expectations were low given how new the wine is, so we opened it as the second bottle on a Friday and it was far superior to the first bottle. Very fruit forward, which is usually not my favorite. But mellow and smooth. Easy drinking and just enjoyable. A nice wine.
