We received this as part of an Italian Mystery Pack, and were pleasantly surprised that it was light, dry and delicious. It was perfect with Kumamoto oysters on the half shell. I will be ordering more.
Susan
We liked this one. Light. crisp and lovely tiny bubbles. My husband noted a little pine flavor on the finish in addition to the almond note.
RHONDA
Yum! This bubbly definitely has some depth. It's peachy, almondy, and tastes expensive and sophisticated-- a coupe glass may not be the optimal glassware for preserving champagne bubbles, but it definitely matches the Old Hollywood glamour of this one
Haley
Excellent finish. Not too sweet.
William
Surprisingly springy and grassy.
Tiffany
A personal favorite and best bang for the buck, if you drink bubblies on the regular. More fruit-forward and same note but it's a damn good note.
Joon
I was not familiar with dry spumantes so I was curious as to what this would be like. I definitely enjoyed it, but it seemed on the tart side, with a fuller body, and I would still prefer cava, champagne, or dry prosecco.
Laura
We love this and it's a great value. Whether for drinking on it's own of making a spritz, YUM!
Heather
Yum! Everyone enjoyed this one. Keep this one in stock! Was going to use for mimosas but perfect on its own.
Zuzana
Easy drinker with a nice minerality. I would like a slightly bolder effervescence but my husband and son prefer the barely there bubbles. Good balance which makes it great for champagne cocktails as well.
Karen
Best bubbly for me!
Holland
I am just not interested in this type of Brut
Dianne
Enjoyed one sunny afternoon. Was bubbly, bright and dry.
Patricia
Great for mimosas!
Nicolle
Light and crisp. A refreshing taste. Not overly sweet.
Not too dry or sweet, pleasantly surprised!
Morgan
Light, crisp, juicy. Good on its own or with a little juice for a Mimosa
Kayla
Unique and fun experience
Sarah
An interesting concept but really just tasted like weak beer
Nicole
Did not like at all. I drink wine for wine, not beer.
Michelle
This tasted like beer to us -- not a bad thing if you like beer. But we aren't beer drinkers so ended up pouring it out.
more like a beer than wine...not a huge beer fan. It was interesting
Elizabeth
Interesting, fun! A beer/wine hybrid.
Emily
We like fizzy, and this is interesting, a little hint of pear
Heidi
If Natty Light made a wine, this would be it. Yuck.
Hannah
Wine AND beer? I approve, mainly because I like beer. This was a light, fizzy, non-sweet white, with low alc, so I enjoyed it.
Amanda
Interesting, half wine, half beer
Jason
Super bland! Would not try again.
Abigail
Fun!
Nevada
it was definitely different...
Sara
It's more beer than wine, but it was good paired with pizza and would probably go with sausage and kraut, as well.
Terrible and a complete waste of $$. Tastes like cheap beer
Rebecca
It’s beer!
Melinda
An interesting alternative to beer.
Bright fruit taste, smooth
Abbey
Delicious!
Jessica
Very drinkable, sweet at the front but not too sweet overall. We enjoyed this with pasta and a homemade red sauce.
We enjoyed this with BBQed Lamb Chops
Betsy
light, fruity, not too acidic
Alla
Flat and acidic, not drinkable. Very disappointed
Angela
What a nice wine. I really like all the berry tastes. Didn't taste chocolate which is fine because I generally don't care for that. This is ( still drinking) a great wine
Smooth easy drinking
Suzanne
Great!
First Grenache and my taste buds are very pleased. Food pairing makes a significant difference with this wine - slightly harsh finish with my Rustic Italian tortellini soup, but then really opened up in flavor and complexity when paired with a creamy Toscano cheese. Good overall wine that I feel guilty I drank alone instead of sharing with friends - granted I’ll likely buy this wine again to rectify.
Jennifer
Subtle and yet complex combination of berries. I can’t pick out any berry varieties over another. But the combination works for me. Easy drinking, smooth. Definitely one of the best
Jeff
Grenache is a favorite grape in this household
Mary
Very light flavor with no real bite afterwards
Lauren
"Fruity with a hint of spice at the finish - "Juicy Fantastic
Antonio
Needed to breathe, but then great. A little fruity a little earthy.
Kathleen
the perfect grenache! fruity but not sweet with a little bit of spice and easy to drink
Lindsay
I like it a lot easy to drink
patricia
I love the complexity of this wine. At first I couldn't decide if I loved it or hated it and to me that's the sign of a nicely complicated wine. End verdict... true love.
Katherine
Rich and meaty. Full in the mouth yet drinkable. Somewhat monotone.
Blackberries, grass.
Not bad. I bit stronger than I like
Tom
Nice.
Judith
Good taste but not as full a body as I usually like with reds.
Jonathan
Very smooth. Nicely balanced.
Miranda
Went really well with chili. Fruity, a little chocolatey
Sweet. Fruity. Has more body than the Malbec.
Kenny
Very berry and smooth, light on body. Excellent with the Bolognese pasta. Not robust enough for a steak.
Kani
Really liked this easy drinking red. Low acid and tannins. Lots of fruity and berry notes on the nose and tongue.
Rachel
Juicy fantastic with my steak
Stephney
Loved this wine. Very full bodied and rich.
Kristen
Flat and thin with little flavor.
Michael
I enjoyed this wine. I paired it with a vegan Rasta pasta. The spices from the pasta were not the best pair with this wine so later I tried it with a vegan steak and potato. It was very delicious. It’s very smooth. I usually enjoy a very dry wine and this one is a sweeter dry wine but still very good. I would order it again. For the first wine i am trying with wine awesomeness it was a good one. I am giving 3 wine glasses only because I know a better one is out there but this was darn good.
Jacqueline
Very good. Juicy, berry. Enjoyable.
Lynette
Purple! Delicious with a little tartness at the end.
Pamela
paired perfectly with pot roast, and even used a little bit of it to cook the roast in. Surprisingly good.
Fun to drink. Light and dry. Like blackberries. You can drink it out of a glass country style. Forget the fancy wine glass.
Olga
Okay, for some reason I didn't like it as much this time.
Valerie
Very smooth and fruity. Liked it a lot. Would get again.
Alexandra
Sweeter than what I prefer
Nice, earthy with deep fruit. Good wine!
Lindsey
Very sweet
Vanessa
smooth and wonderful blackberry hints
Chris
did not like taste of this
BREANNA
Mild opening, fruity finish. Would buy again.
Nikki
very good
craig
I really enjoyed this well-balanced, light red! I found the tannins to be soft and a low acidity for a Friday evening stand-alone.
Eric
Looked forward to this one from Languedoc but was disappointed. The wine had a slate taste base that underlie aggressive red cherry flavors. There was a certain bitterness to the wine that made it a forgettable drink alone beverage but probably would have mated well with grilled red meats.
