Meet Mary Taylor... she's on a mission to easily explain that wine comes from very specific places. You may have already noticed, but her labels are elegant, all white adorned simply with the name of the winemaker and precisely where the wine is made. Wine doesn't have to be overly complex, after all... it's just grapes!
Great drinking wine. Refreshing, fizzy and green.
Linda
Mary Taylor wines are always something special! These regional French wines are so special!
Carol
too fizzy
Gail
Springtime in a bottle! Never mind that I am drinking it in the first week of summer. A little mineral, a teeny bubble, a smack of freshness. Buy a case and block out 4:30 pm every Friday for 12 weeks, because this is maybe the most ideal way to transition from the Friday workday to Friday fun times.
Jessica
Fantastic! A good, clean finish.
Thomas
Clean, light, refreshing. Drinks well on its own or with food. Yum!
Karin
Nice. Would drink again and I'm not much of a white dirnker.
Kathleen
Love this one - light and crisp. Refreshing for summer!
Jennifer
Nice, but spritzy.
Ignacio
complex flavors, almost a chardonnay, but not a french sancerre. This is nice served very cold! Good with spicy asian meals.
Carey
favorite so far. lightly effervescent a la piquepoul/vinho verde i love iiiit
Alexandra
Pleasantly refreshing with pineapple/mango notes dominating the rather thin flavor profile. A very pleasant bouquet on the nose followed by just enough sweetness to make the wine enjoyable on its own or with foods like oysters on the half shell, fried chicken and pork roast.
William
Can’t sense the bubbles but really crisp fruity and a little but not too sweet!
Julie
The slight effervescent quality makes this a light and easy drinking wine.
Douglas
One of my favorites that I have had on this site. I'm a big fan of Sancerre, which this reminded me of, but with more complexity. Lovely wine! I immediately wished I bought more than 6 bottles, then it was sold out.
Elizabeth
This is a surprisingly tasty and complex white
Sarah
Interesting wine. Well worth the money.
Fred
A little sweet and light. Not too much of a taste to it.
Kelsey
Wonderfully dry crisp texture with a balance of several slight citrussy tones. One of my favs.
Robert
Just tried, enjoying very much
Phyllis
Crisp on the palate with notes of lemon and melon. Not too sweet, which I feared. Lovely for spring/summer.
Wonderful summer white- fresh and clear.
Tracy
Great wine, 100% Grillo - found it similar to good quality Sauvignon Blancs
Daniel
A not-so-basic wine that you'll want again and again. Dry and saline.
Ellen
Not a huge fan, too acidic
Morgan
Like a softer sweeter Sav Blanc
Vincent
I can taste the volcano!
John
Great flavor
Marina
very good. great description, appreciate the back story
Don
Ooo yea grillo
Kelsy
An interesting combo of oaky and dry tropical fruit.
Rebecca
Very simple "one note" but not bad by any means. Easy drinking.
Jeffrey
A little tart but very easy to drink.
Very fresh
Anna
Crisp but slightly tart. It is perfect with my homemade sourdough crackers. I think I would like it even more chilled than it is right now.
Maria
Lightly floral
Mary
Happy hour
Judith
A little too tart for me. Not very interesting flavor either.
David
Like strolling through a lemon grove. This is a delightful wine that is playful and serious all at once. Elegantly balanced with a lovely soft finish, it is refreshing and perfect with food or on its own. Nice accompaniment to mild and raw cheeses as well as any milder seafood.
Candra
I thought it might be like a grillo. I did not care for it.
This is possibly one of the best white wine that I have tried. It is very well-balanced with great amount of both sweetness and dryness.
Xue
Delicious, crisp, and refreshing, with a green floral nose and bright fruit flavors. Very reminiscent of a good sauvignon blanc.
Laura
Just perfect, typical of the region and reminds me of great memories of France.
George
asdfasdfadsasdasasda
Dale
Enjoyed it very much
Palmira
Love this wine. One of my favorites from Wine Awesomeness.
Julianne
Rich, acidic, paired incredibly with Brie and also just drinking on its own. Will keep this in the cellar for certain!
This is one of my absolute favorites. Drink with a friend or with food—fabulous either way.
I like this Douro. A solid, well structured red. Nothing transcendent but a reliable cellar staple.
Alexander
This wine was good until the last glass when I got a mouthful of sediment. It coated one side of the glass. Almost as if it had been standing too long in the warehouse? I store all my wine lying down. It was disappointing.
This was a nice dry, jammy wine -- easy to drink with great flavor
Charles
Very nice for everyday, good value for the price
Very nice, dry, full bodied wine. Definitely will purchase again.
Britta
surprisingly strong taste yet easy to drink
craig
I really liked this one. Aubrey said it was peppery but I fuck wit that. I want it again but maybe just for me.
Joel
Smooth. In between Malbec and Tempranillo

Fruity, dry and tasy

Stephanie
love love love this wine!
Very nice, bold wine. Great with food or just a sipping wine.
VICTORIA
It was fine - didn't give me a "wow" feeling, but I enjoyed it. I'd drink again but not at WA's price.
Kieran
Pretty good with steak
Florence
Visited the Douro region 1.5 years ago and fell in love with their wines. This one is right up there.
Richard
I actually had 2 of these bottles due to shortage of something else. Delicious! Works well with lighter meals (seafood, fish, chicken) but also just by itself.
Adina
Just like I remember from my trip to Portugal. Medium bodied, well balanced.
Wendy
Just love it
Dianne
tart, needs to open up
Elysia
red fruits, cranberries, raspberries
Reynaldo
Went well with my broiled lamb chops. Not as well when sipped alone later that evening. Still a good bottle of wine.
Jammy; lots of dark, red fruit -- cherries, blackberry, raspberry. I let this breathe in the decanter for about 10 minutes; could possibly use a little more. But this one is a goody.
Tara
Portugal is the jam.
Logan
A versatile red that goes well with either pasta, rice or meat dish. Also works well on its own. Gets smoother after opening.
Tasty and pretty smooth. Not a strong berry/fruit flavor.
Matthew
pleasant days 1-3; not super jammy or strong in flavor, but definitely grippy and drinkable
Amanda
I liked this one more than my wife. It had to open up a bit.
D
Easy to drink, went nicely with dinner
Somewhat spicy/fruity. Had it with a parmesan sprinkled meal - delicious!
olga
Very versatile and a good value
Very astringent
Heidi
Very nice once it was allowed to open up a bit.

An enjoyable, flavorful Tempranillo

Delicious, balanced and fruity. Peppery. Easy to drink. Nice on a chilly evening.
Emily
Smoky. Deep. Yummy.
Melinda
Jammy
Earthy
Tarryn
This was a typical Cahors in style. Nothing extraordinary but a very nice casual drinking wine and weeknight dinner wine.
One of my favorite reds these days
Not so good the first day I opened, but the next day... it opened up and was richer and more flavor.
I thought this was surprisingly tasty!
Nicholas
Excellent Malbec - definitely surprised to the upside. First Malbec outside of Argentina that I've tried and this one holds its own against the best homegrown ones.
Marvin
enjoyable
Not my jam, but still a good wine
rich and smooth, full-bodied.
really smoky
