All-Star 3-Pack

Not a heavy, earthy or flavorful cab -- but a very enjoyable medium-bodied wine. I'd expect more at a restaurant or from an expensive bottle, but went nicely with steak and/or sipping on its own. Fruit with strong hits of pepper, but very drinkable.

This tasted like a cheap wine. I brought to a dinner party and was mortified. I tried another bottle last night and still, it wasn't very good.

The body was a bit lighter than I typically like in a Cabernet, but the nose and flavor profile were both pretty good, and it paired well with burgers on warm night.

I was expecting a far deeper, richer wine. It's a very good wine, and is a very pleasant combination of body, aromas and finish. A little more body and bite would have taken it up a notch or two for me, but it's still a very good, smooth pinot noir.
