Take a trip and discover Italy’s vast terroirs, from the goat-hopping Alps to the salty Mediterranean, that create bold, even melancholy wines — which can only be described as Italian.
This is horrible. Tastes like vinegar. Don't purchase this again.
Laura
Practically tastes like cherry juice. Extremely pleasant. Not complex, just straightforward, hit-you-in-the-face fruit -- but in a *good* way. Great with tomato sauce; probably wouldn't trot out opposite steak.
Eric
Great unwinding wine.
David
Jammy, full bodied, smooth
Abbey
Fruity, Smooth and easy-drinking. One of my favorites.
Debra
Peppery, not my favorite red but not bad
Nikki
A special grape and my daily wine!

Disappointing. Lacks depth and complexity. Save your money for a better wine.

So easy to drink. Fruity.
Amanda
nice round wine. lacks depth a little
Lukas
A little dry but great taste.
Deborah
An explosion of tasty berries. I have really enjoyed this wine and getting ready to order more
Jeff
Seemed syrupy. Not the favorite of the Italian painting bottles, but need to try again. Got a second bottle and enjoyed it. Not syrupy. Better than what I remember from the first bottle.
Kristin
Overall a good wine!
Arron
One of my favorite ones. Lasting taste but not harsh. Good will all type of food. I am not one that follows red with red meat and so on. I had this with fist and it was great. So did our guest like it. Sorry it took so long to write something.
Martha
Smooth.
Antonio
Favorite Red from order Sweeter than similar red Smooth
Jessica
Very berry forward but a very light easy drinker. What a great wine to start my membership with.
christine
very well balanced supple with lots of fruit forward. a very nice bottle
john
I really enjoy the nero grape. This one has some sweetness but isn't too sweet. Has good flavor range to it. It's an enjoyable drinking wine.
Katherine
Smooth & drinkable, but nothing too special
Nevada
Cherry forward with great fruity flavor
Heather
One of our favorites.
D
Loved the fuller body and jammy notes on this one!
Jonathan
More middle ground than dry, but the sweetness isn't bad. Definitely enjoyable.
Emily
This was the first bottle we opened from a 12-bottle case and it really set a great tone for the rest of the case. We are generally fans of Italian reds. This one was very approachable--smooth, fruity, and so easy to drink. It's a weekday wine for sure.
better the 2nd day
Kimberly
Didn't love this as much as I thought I would.
Marisa
Not bad, but not a lot of depth of flavor
Kristen
Favorite wine from WA so far. Smooth with just enough fruit and pairs very well with pasta - we paired with pasta carbonara and the next night with lasagna.
Heidi
Very very cherry.
Decent, mostly smooth and fruit forward but tasted pretty generic
Morgan
Smooth, smooth, smooth!
Pamela
Definitely a winner. Dry, fruity and tart. Perfect with dinner or cheese and antipasti.

Elizabeth
3.5 good drinkable red
Alexandra
Rick enjoyed more than I did.
Margaret
This wine was light in a really enjoyable way! It had a dry fruity crispness to it I hadn’t really encountered with a red before and I really liked that. Sort of like the sensation of a green apple. Would buy again
Devon
like ok
BREANNA
Expectations were low given how new the wine is, so we opened it as the second bottle on a Friday and it was far superior to the first bottle. Very fruit forward, which is usually not my favorite. But mellow and smooth. Easy drinking and just enjoyable. A nice wine.
Fruity and light - easy to drink, delicious with a light seafood pasta
Amy
Not my favorite, aggressively fruity
Nicole
Very dry with definite cherry notes. I liked it but didn’t love it. Great aroma but actual flavor lacked compared to the nose.
Rachel
Nero D’Avola is generally one of my favorite wines. This was good, but not on par with some of my very favorites.
Claire
Very good. Drinkable. Oops, the whole bottle is gone kind of subtle goodness
Vincent
Delicious! Fruity and not too sweet.
Carol
Berries, cherries, sweet, a little tartness. Really not try at all
All sorts of Italian winter loveliness in this
I was looking to try a Nero D’Avola this month and was excited to find one in my box! I really enjoyed this—well-balanced and fruit forward. A light, every day wine, it paired well with bacon burgers.
Really liked this one. Smooth
Beth
A bright and enjoyable red that was excellent with blistered tomato ricotta toasts
Not complex but delicious, easy-drinking; lighter in body than other NDA from Sicily
comforting, dependably tasty. Good for every occasion.
Brett

Mackenzie
Subtly sweet and a very easy drink. Loved the notes of peach/nectarine.
Really loved the wine, and the pasta recipe
Adam
Smells perfect--peaches and melon and lemon for me. Daytime wine, for sure--works well on its own or pair it with something light. Full disclosure: not my favourite Foto white wine, but definitely fun and enjoyable.
Enjoyed It is summer in a bottle!

Jason
Very light and fruity wine. Easy to drink but not a lot of flavor.
Vanessa
A bit of citrus, but rounded out with other fruity flavors. Dry, Crisp, slight tart to compliment the sweet aromas. Similar to souvenion blanc but very balanced.

Nice. Good for food. Little crisp little tart like a green apple.
Liked this one. Not too sweet.
Light and crisp

skye
Decent white
Great! Not sweet!
Colleen
Smells & tastes like tropical fruit, less acidity than I was expecting. Nearly clear in color.
Have given this wine to friends, they loved it
Phyllis
Light bodied, a little minerally, and generally good with cheeses and light dinner meal, but not my go-to for wine solo.
Love these Italian reds!!! And whites!!!
4 stars: very drinkable. Like Grillo, the first impression is a touch of a Riesling like tingle in the mouth and then good body sweeps in.
not bad ...
Love this. Maybe my favorite. Full of flavor.
Not the average tasteless white wine—tasty and refreshing.
Peter
Too buttery for me
Bethany
Would go well with fish, chicken and vegan summer-ish dishes. Had it with a lovely massaman curry and it was lovely.
My favorite white. Light, refreshing and so easy on the palate. Almost too easy since before I knew it the bottle was empty!!
This was great. paired well with a shrimp, zucchini and orzo dish. It's easy to drink with a nice fruit flavor that was subtly sweet.
Matthew
This is so light and delicious and pairs with really anything.
Loria
Nice, dry summer white yet fruity aftertaste
It tasted exactly as described and was okay. Terrible headache the next day...

Loved it. First delivery June 2021.

Meh - prefer whites so automatically pretty alright but I didn't taste as much fruit as was described.
somewhat floral nose and clean mineral finish

Soft fruity flavor. Better chilled. Not my favorite white. But I enjoyed it.
Wendy

Loved it but I shared it with the fam wish I had more to drink!
Patrick
Light Not too sweet
Not bad, not my favorite
Chelsea
Fragrance of peaches, nectarines, and straw. Tasted tart on the tongue with hints of citrus, especially a slight tartness of lemon. Dry and refreshing.
Etienne
I found it nice but a little bland
Mairi
Nice crisp summer wine Some tartness Don’t get much peach
Lawrence
It's okay, not my favorite pecorino. Definitely gets better as it airs out, but not great.
starts off very floral notes, almost like an orange wine. the you get hit with intense minerality and burst of acidity, followed by a nice salty finish. super impressive wine for the price point,
Craig
Easy drink, a little ‘salty’ paired well with Brie and crackers
Nice with Thai food
Jody
I like the peach notes in the dry white.
Tasja
YES YES YES! I had never heard of a Pecorino before this, but one sip and I was sold. I will forever be on the lookout for this varietal. It is perfect. Crisp, fruity, aromatic. It figuratively bubbles in my mouth--it's just so vibrant and pixie-like. I want to drink this every other day.
Smooth and easy to drink. Must be chilled.
Kenny
This is like a mix between a Pinot Grigio and a Chardonnay, a bit buttery, no oak.
Enjoyed taste
Low tannin Med-high acidity Melon and lemon notes one nose Heavy mild bodied Perfect with seafood pair and vegetables 100%
Aquila
Very easy to drink
The perfect wine for a spring or summer afternoon outside. Light but not sweet.
Kelsey
Light, bright, citrusy, however, not too sweet, pairs well with chicken or seafood.
refreshingly pleasant dry white
Gail
Love this will order again
Delicious white that’s easy to drink, and pair with food!
Frank
Pretty good, a little too melon-y for me.
Fruit forward smell, but less fruity taste. Dry, smooth, pleasant slightly apple/pear initially followed by salt and mineral. I'd definitely buy again!
Enjoyed this wine very much! Very good+++
Apricot
Olga
Lightly dry and crisp. The nose is sweet and reminds me of a Riesling or Moscato, but the taste is a little tangy and lightly dry. Lots of tart apple flavor. Refreshing and drinkable. Enjoyed it with white fish and pasta!
Very good. Love the honey notes.
Very nice well balanced white that had some body, but was still crisp
Smooth and fruity - strong peach on the nose.
Faith
This was nice! Real honey flavor, plus fruit. Not too acidic or too sweet.
Ordered more bottles. Excellent.
Sherrylynn
Very fruity. Not my favorite for drinking by itself but pairs well with food.
12.5
Great stink, good taste
Crisp and refreshing.
Wesley
Enjoyable. I really get the acidity first, some fruit comes through later.
very peachy and tart
Light and slightly fruity, without being too sweet. Perfect for pairing with fruit and cheese, grilled chicken and veggies, or my fav ravioli: artichoke, ricotta, and lemon with a drizzle of olive oil!
