For much of the 1990s and early 2000s, the American wine market was flooded with cheap, overly jammy and oaky wines from Australia. Our story about this wine tragedy, Wine and a Wallaby, is a great read to get you caught up on what Aussie wine used to be like. But now fast forward into the future to sip on some of the new wave of Aussie wine that we're lucky to have Stateside.
This Aussie white blend is pure sunshine goodness in a bottle. It's such a delight that it may trick your brain into thinking you're soaking up all the Vitamin C you missed during this cold and dark winter. Aromas of stone fruit and top notes of blossom. It’s a full mouthful of white peach, apricot, slightly more tropical fruits with piercing mineral and lemon acidity providing a taut backbone and keeping all that golden sunshine ripeness in place..
Try it with our Halibut Ceviche with Tomato and Pineapple recipe.
