More about this wine from Langhorne Creek, South Australia
Just to the south of the city of Adelaide lies a little-known but kicking South Australian wine region called Langhorne Creek. Thought to be one of the country’s oldest winemaking regions, the town was founded in the 1800s by Langhorne, a cattleman, and not too long after regional wine pioneer Frank Potts purchased land and began farming — and thus, Bleasdale Vineyards was born. Cabernet Sauvignon is the powerhouse varietal of the region; it is supple and generous and easy to drink. And this Mulberry Tree line of Cab, named after the ancient tree that grows adjacent to the vineyard, lightly blended with Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec, is, like that waft of a Tom Ford cologne that just won’t quit, elegant and smooth and persistent.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

With this wine, a rack of of lamb would be outstanding, but it’s also an amazing pizza wine, so why not go for both?
