Great aroma! I am a huge fan of Pinots from Willamette Valley and this does not disappoint!
Very bright + red fruit, with the teensiest hint of something more savory

Steve
Gulpable!
Kyle
Nice Pinot! Very smooth.
Maya
Light, and not overly dry. Would certainly drink again.
Mercedes
Light body, not very varietal in character. Pleasant, but undistinguished. It is developing more complexity and flavor in the bottle.
Peter
Nice light Pinot Noir from favorite area in willamette valley. Price range just right.
Susan

Soft and smooth. Even smoother second night.
Kani
Nicely fruit forward, no nasty bite to the finish, very satisfying.

The second Pinot in my Wine Awesomeness series came in with high marks. I prefer the Boya Pinot more but gave them both a 4 rating. If I could the Boya would get a 4.5 rating; the Jovino a 3.5. This wine was jam packed with fruit but somewhat austere cecause I'd like a little more sweetness to the flavor. All in all a well made wine worth trying. I'd recommend it to be drunk with a meal over solitary imbibing.
David
Pretty good. Taste of red currant, a bit of pepper, and I get a tobacco note. May order again. Better the 2nd night!
Rachel
Not bad, just not wonderful
Vincent
sweet on the lips; warming in the throat
Melinda
Delicious, light and peppery.
Kristen
Very good, smooth medium body Pinot!
Barbara

Many somms and wine geeks compare the Willamette Valley to France's infamous Burgundy wine region. The two regions are virtually on the same longitude and have a similar climate, but one reason this bottle from Oregon is so damn tasty is the winemaker, Joe Dobbes. Dobbes learned his skills working at two of Burgundy's most renowned estates, Roumier and Lafon. The Dobbes team believes that their little patch of dirt in Oregon produces some of the best quality fruit in the world. The philosophy is letting the grapes speak for themselves rather than bending nature to their will.
The juice is a gorgeous, light ruby color. As the vino splashes into your wine goblet, the smells are like picking fresh basil in the midst of a fresh fruit stand with cherry, redcurrant, and pomegranate. All the aromas stick around for your taste buds as you sip on the wine, but a touch of black pepper and anise show up at the flavor party. The result is the easiest to drink combo of bright fruit and savory flavors.
